With its new Corona regulations, the state government in Hamburg thinks it is making a “new start in culture” possible. The reality: based on these regulations, we unfortunately have to cancel the event.
We hoped until the very end that we would be able to get the beautiful event on its feet… Unfortunately, Hamburg makes it impossible for us to hold the festival in a halfway “reasonable” framework. Either only 99 people (3G) are allowed into the big hall, they have to keep their distance and wear masks all the time. Under 2G, more people are allowed in, but the distance rules remain, whereby no matter which “G”, beer may not even be served. However, in any case, it would require an insane amount of staff, which we cannot provide and the calculation would absolutely “blow up in our faces”! Therefore, we unfortunately have to cancel!
Hamburg Blues Nights present two nights of finest international blues music featuring highly renowned artists from Europe and America. Right in the middle of Hamburg locates the Sasel Haus – an old and traditional event related venue which has seen uncounted artists throughout the years. Very good acoustics, best transport connection and lots of parking space offer the best possible conditions for a festival.
